Vice President of Procurement

Matt Fitzgerald became the Vice President of Procurement for Good Source Solutions in March 2010. He joined Good Source in 2008 as the Vice President of Sourcing and Product Development after spending 28 years with Compass Group, 7 years specifically devoted to Canteen Corrections. His previous experience makes him a wealth of knowledge to the Good Source Procurement Department. Matt has also been trained in the culinary arts under various European and American chefs.

Matt loves the culture and the spirit of Good Source and appreciates a company that fosters individualism, yet its greatest strength is teamwork. Matt especially enjoys his job and visiting manufacturing facilities and operations. He says “It gives you a better understanding of what our suppliers and customers are faced with on a day to day basis”. He follows one simple philosophy when working: “Find a job you love, and you will never work another day in your life”.

Matt was raised in Little Rock, AR and has lived in Yellowstone, Nashville, Milwaukee, Knoxville, TN and Milford, MA. Matt spends most of his free time with his wife, Julie, and two sons, Mark and John. He is active in Boy Scouts of America as well as downhill skiing, sailing and rebuilding vintage cars.
