Good Source Flounder with Ginger Glaze

Savory flounder with a sweet and spicy ginger glaze! Enjoy this light dish for lunch or dinner. Served with shitake mushrooms and sweet potatoes. 

Ingredients

  • 8 each Flounder, Thawed *GS Item: #38721
  • 2 bags Ginger Sauce *GS Item: #34676
  • 24 oz. Sweet Potatoes *GS Item: 104389
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup Butter
  • 16 oz. Shitake Mushrooms, Cleaned and Sliced
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

Season flounder with salt and pepper and sauté in ¼ cup butter.
Reduce 2 bags of ginger sauce by half.
Toss sweet potatoes with brown sugar and bake in oven till caramelized (about 20 minutes at 375°F).
In sauté pan, melt ¼ cup butter and sauté shitake mushrooms until done (about 10 minutes).
Season with salt and pepper.

Plate by placing potatoes in center of plate. Surround with mushrooms and top with sauté of flounder. Drizzle glaze over fish.
