Lasagna Primavera

A true taste of Italy!  A simple recipe to create a delicious dish all of your students will enjoy! Filled with hearty vegetables, this entree is healthy and filling. 

Ingredients

  • 2 TFS Cheese Filled Lasagna Sheets
  • 4 Cups Italian Blend Frozen Vegetables, thawed & drained
  • Prepared Alfredo Sauce
  • 4 oz. Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded

Instructions

Ladle Alfredo sauce in the bottom of ½ Sized Hotel Pan. 

Place 1 cheese filled TFS Cheese Filled Lasagna Sheet on top of the Alfredo sauce in the pan. 

Add 2 cups of Italian Blend Vegetables. 

Ladle Sauce to coat vegetables. 

Add second Cheese Filled Lasagna Sheet on top of coated vegetables. 

Add remain vegetables, remaining sauce and top with Shredded Cheese. 

Bake at 350˚F until internal temperature reaches 165˚F.

**1/8th slice of the above prepared lasagna will provide 2.5 M/MA, 1oz Grain EQ and 1/2C Other Vegetable.
